January 11th

Alex had another CAT Scan today, and the swelling has gone down! Beyond that, although not much has changed from yesterday's scan, the way Alex is responding and progessing is being viewed in a positive light by doctors. This is encouraging news to us at this point. After looking over the results of today’s scan, the neurosurgeon is just going to treat the patient, not the CAT Scan. This decision is based on Alex’s ability and current condition/outward signs.

Right now Alex needs lots of rest. We know that everyone would love to come see him, but right now there is limited visitation for Alex. The doctors are asking that if you are feeling sick or around someone that is sick and/or have small children, please send your love with a friend. One of the Doctors' concerns is that Alex is currently very susceptible to infection, and it is important that we do all we can to prevent any complications. Love and prayers sent through a friend or email are just as appreciated, we promise. Know that regardless of the limited visitation for Alex, it is still very encouraging to the family to have everyone come visit them. So, feel free to join us.

Thank you again for your prayers and support.
