Ok soooooo, Alex has been resting ALLLL day... he really has his days and nights mixed up... LUCKY ME! Nothing new has developed, the new antibiotic has been started and I really feel like that is going to kick whatever is going on at this point.
I love how the news has NOW mentioned Alex on day 19 and picked out only what they think makes a great story! Why hasn't the media talked about how great he IS doing since that horrific day? They wait until the 3rd week and do a spot about him fighting an infection???
ATTENTION MEDIA: Why don't you do a story on the MIRACLES God is performing on Alex each and every day that he is breathing? The fact that he is still alive 19 days later and performing tasks that are UNBELIEVABLE with a gunshot wound to the head, only explainable by GOD!!! Or how about doing a feature on the awesome nursing staff here at Shands and how amazing the Doctors are at their care and surgeries they have performed on Alex... Noooo you insist on covering the NEGATIVES.... twisting, torting the information! I spoke of a POSSIBLE infection starting... I NEVER SAID THERE WAS INFECTION.... we don't speak the negatives around here. WE SPEAK POSITIVES!!! Try doing a story on that for once!
My handsome boy will beat this...God has his arms wrapped so tight around us we can't see anything but moving forward with this progress. Yes, we have hit a bump in the road and I have asked you all to pray.... PRAYER NEVER HURT ANYONE! We pray and it will never be anything more than a rash on his skin... HOW BOUT THAT!

Since Alex has been sleeping all day...pray for Alex to continue sleeping thru the night so we can get some sleep too, lol! :0)~
