TESTS TODAY!

Alex got up today with good intentions bless his heart.... he gave it a go with speech and physical therapy.... not so much.

We have already been for DOPPLER TEST ... to test for blood clots in left leg as he has been really complaining constantly of pain in leg even on tylenol, motrin and loratab.  Doppler test came back negative...THANK YOU GOD.... no blood clots!  Now to figure out just what is really going on in that leg of his!

We also had a chest xray and they will be doing a secretion test.... no results on this just yet but I will keep you posted.

He just had lunch and is sleeping soundly..... Occupational therapy in 10 minutes... aaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!  We will give it a whirl and see what we can accomplish if anything.

Please keep him in your prayers today... the swelling looks the same... not bigger so that to me is a blessing.  It hasn't gone down... but it hasn't gotten bigger and I'LL TAKE THAT!  The roller coaster isn't as bumpy today but then everyday brings new surprises.....PRAYERS WORK so please keep them coming.

Alex still has positive attitude thru all this but is just extremely distracted because of his leg and constantly pats it and says "HELP ME"..... OMG.... that is the hardest part of all because I can't take his pain away and we don't know what to do for him.  Pray for his comfort and peace of mind for me because seeing your child in pain and not being able to do anything for it is probably worse than the pain itself!

Thank you all for your continued support and concern.... means the world to me and the family.  Will blog later tonight with any results and let you know our plan of attack on Satan!  THANK YOU GOD FOR ONE MORE DAY WITH MY HANDSOME BOY!!!  We have put all of our faith in you God and I know you will pave the way for our road to recovery!  Thank you God for what you have already done and what you will continue to do in healing Alex from the inside out and from the top of his head to the tip of his toes!  YOU ARE AN AWESOME GOD and I thank you for the Miracle of Alex's 2nd chance at life and know that you have great things in store for him.

Happy Monday to all..... we are making the best of ours and enjoying Alex even at his worst.

PEACE~LOVE~N~THUMBS UP!
