Alex is getting stronger with taking steps and not having to rely on therapist supporting him as much when he takes strides. His goal is to walk 150 ft without stopping.... Superman can do it!!
Gabi and Adam both leave tomorrow.... we will be the only ones left here of our friends since the beginning. We will miss those families! They are both walking and are on the way to full recovery. Thank you God for bringing us all together .... for giving us new friends in Christ that we have bonded with and feel so blessed to have crossed our paths. I pray that you give both families safe travels home and continue to heal Gabi and Adam so that they are back to their normal active selves. I pray that you work in Todd and Karen's lives so that they know exactly what direction you want to them to go and where they need to be for Gabi to get all of her schooling needs met. YOU ARE AN AWESOME GOD... DO YOUR "THANG".
TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY....
Soooo I get the call from Robbie Tebow this morning to work out all the details of our arrival tomorrow. He said..." Does Alex have a special way of transportation that he needs?" I said " Not really.... we worked on his transfer in and out of van this morning from his wheelchair why"? He said.." Well, we have arranged a Limo to pick you guys up at 9am and bring you here and take you back". SHUT THE FRONT DOOR, THE BACK DOOR, THE GARAGE DOOR AND BROOKS' SLIDING DOORS LOL! We are rolling up to the Swamp... ROCK STAR STYLE... get outta here! I told him he was gonna make me cry!! OMG.... how insane is that??? Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that we would get to go to Pro Day with Tim Tebow let alone have Robbie arrange our travels too and from Jacksonville in a LIMO! A stretch HUMMER LIMO! THANK YOU GOD FOR GIVING THIS TO MY HANDSOME BOY! Tomorrow is going to be such an awesome day for him! To be able to be just a kid again... on the outside world... hanging on the sidelines with his idol and some other of his favorite players..... HOW COOL IS THAT???? Thank you Tim and Robbie for giving the unthinkable.... for giving my boy a memory of a lifetime and for giving him an opportunity to be a kid again!! Can't wait till tomorrow and give ya'll all the details and share pics!!
