Good morning everyone, and we do mean good morning.
First, thank you everyone for your prayers last night. Alex had a great night and is much more relaxed.
OK, so last night the doctors were planning around 12 a.m. to stop feeding Alex so they could remove the tube from his airway this morning. Well, they stopped the feeding last night and... removed the tube from Alex's airway this morning. He is breathing on his own.
God is amazing!
Right now Alex is resting. He still needs to cough and clear some of the junk from his airway, so pray that he can do that.
We can not say thank you enough to everyone for your support and prayers, please keep them coming as this journey is not over. We still need all the prayer and help we can get.
Psalm 46:10 has so much to say and is a verse that we are standing on. We have been doing our best to trust and know that He is God and that everything is in His hands.
I hope to update again today, but know that you are not just praying for us, we are praying that God is moving in everyone's life that has been pushing through this with us.
